As you may be aware the Government impose an annual increase of Tax (Landfill Tax) and this year is the largest since the levy began. Also at the same time the landfill operators choose to implement their increases.

We at Alan's Skips aim to minimise the increases by recycling approximately 78% of all general waste saving on some of the landfill tax and disposal costs. The government has announced that the increases are set to continue at pace until landfill tax reaches £35.00 per tonne. Combine this with landfill disposal costs rising twice yearly. Therefore it is the industry opinion that disposal including landfill tax will reach £55.00 per t onne over the next 18 months.
